Thai Table Massage Course (12 hrs)

This class is hands-on only. The two-day session is intense and requires full concentration on the teacher's demonstrations, followed by student practice. There will be no theoretical explanations or in-depth discussions on the positions. If you have already attended Level 1, in this course you will learn to apply a big portion of it on the table. To get the most out of this course, please follow the guidelines below:

During the Demonstration:

• Follow along with the workbook.

• Most explanations are already covered in the workbook.

• Pay close attention to key terms and positions during the demonstration.

How to Practice After the Demonstration:

As the Giver:

1. Follow the steps outlined in the workbook.

2. The teacher will provide corrections if necessary.

As the Receiver:

1. Communicate with the giver if any pressure feels painful.

2. Keep in mind that the giver may not yet have the strength or experience to apply as much pressure as desired. The focus is on practicing techniques, and the ability to apply stronger pressure will develop with time. Applying too much force can cause injury, such as straining the thumbs.

3. Receivers should avoid correcting the giver during the practice. Giving feedback may confuse the giver, as it might not be the correct guidance. Leave all corrections to the teacher.

Practical Exam : An on-going evaluation during the course

Written Exam: A short written quiz will be taken during the course
