Description:

Manual Deep Tissue Mobilization is a physical therapy technique that  is used to release tightness in muscles, fascia, ligaments and other soft  tissue. If a muscle has been injured or is holding tension, due to poor  posture, stress or illness, then adhesions can form.  Adhesions are bands of painful, rigid tissue which can form in  muscles, the tendons or ligaments and can lead to poor blood flow to  the area as well as limitation of movement, leading to pain.  

The purpose of the Advanced deep tissue massage is to release the  muscle fibres that have become “stuck”, in order to remove toxins and  to encourage blood to circulate again. It is important to note that clients should be referred to another  professional such as an Osteopath, a Physiotherapist or Sports  Massage therapists if you suspect that there is an injury that warrants  expert advice.  

Therapeutic touch has been used in human beings to soothe aches and pains.

Marey El Hamouly Marey has been in the massage and spa therapy industry for nearly 35 years. He is registered with the Empirical Medicine Switzerland- RME, He is the founder and director of Sugar & Spice Spa, the International Massage Academy of Switzerland (IMAS) and he is the president of the World Massage Council. He has been trained in a wide variety of body therapies ranging from Spa style massage therapies to Eastern and Osteopathic Manual Techniques both in the UK, Switzerland and USA. 

Marey is a trained teacher and is well known in the international circuit for training massage and body therapies having lectured in over 79 cities abroad. He is actively engaged as a Judge for many national and international massage competitions for the last 7 years and He organize the National and International Massage Championship -Switzerland 

 He has been awarded numerous awards for his activities in the industry and he is a member of Medgate Partner (MGP)
