CranioSacral Therapy 1 – Level 1
In the "Craniosacral Therapy 1 - CS1" Seminar, the basis for learning to palpate and work with the Craniosacral system is presented. Perhaps the most important element in healing is being able to feel the CranioSacral Rhythm and use it to assess the body and apply the techniques effectively.
Goals
• You will palpate the Craniosacral Rhythm and learn to use it as an assessment tool
• You will appreciate the anatomical peculiarities of cranial areas, cranial sutures and the horizontal and vertical membranous system within the cranium.
• You will learn why treatment in the dural tube has a positive effect that is carried throughout the body.
• You will understand the fascia as an integrated system of the body, the viscoelastic properties of the tissues and how we can use them to find the cause of the problem.
• You will learn what a Still Point is, how and when to induce a Still Point, as well as the CV-4 technique
• You will learn how and when to use “direction of energy” techniques
What is the famous 10-step Protocol?
Dr Upledger and his colleagues have developed a safe and effective way to begin using the techniques of CranioSacral Therapy. That's why they created what we call the 10-step protocol.
Techniques for the Torso
The 10-step techniques target the bones and fascia of the body. They include treatment methods for the transverse diaphragms: Pelvic & Respiratory Diaphragm, Thoracic Inlet, Hyoid and Occipital Cranial Base.
Cranial Techniques
Also techniques for the bones of the vault of the skull such as the lift of the frontal bone, the lift and decompression of the parietals, the compression-decompression of the sphenoid bone, the mobilization of the temporal bones with the famous “pulling the ears” technique.
Final Touches
We should also pay attention to the evaluation of the dural tube and its treatment. Last and very important is the technique for decompression of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ).
What will I be able to do after completing CS1?
So with the CS1 course you can develop more the ability to palpate the CranioSacral Rhythm but at the same time you can immediately start doing sessions with wonderful results on your clients.

· John E. Upledger's book "Inner Physician and You" describes how he discovered the method of CranioSacral Healing and many of its key applications.
· Chapters 1-7 from John E. Upledger's book “Craniosacral Therapy”. Describes all techniques for CS1 level material.
Prerequisites
We accept all therapists working with the body, masage therapists, yoga practitioners, pilates instructors, schiatzu practitioners etc.
